Charleston South Carolina

The Charleston Chapter of the 20th Alumni Association held it's most recent meeting on Sunday April 13th at the Ladson VFW. Participation was good, but we can do better! We talked some business and enjoyed a few adult beverages. Some of us enjoyed more beverages than others... but I won't mention Sam's name. (oops, that was a typo). 

MAC Treasure Yard sale was held . . .
on Saturday April 19th, and of course it was a great success.  There were plenty of "one man's trash" items for sale, and we made some good dough. Here are some pictures of the event.

Here's the next thing for the Charleston Chapter:

July  Guess what... it's way too hot for a cookout!!!  We'll be having that in the fall when things cool off a little  But don't miss our next meeting at the Ladson VFW  That will be Sunday July 27th at 2pm (1400 hrs, or 27363 Zulu I think).
In the mean time, Charleston Alumni, pick up the phone or dust off your keyboard and contact other local 20th folks and tell them about our group.

Our Next Reunion is . . .

October 8th thru the 11th, 2009 in sunny Orlando Florida. Reunion will be at the Rodeway Inn, detail to follow, but so far I'm hearing Elmer Andrews has lined up a dinner show, transportation included for a super price.

And the Reunion after that . . .

Will be October 2011 back to Myrtle Beach SC (a.k.a. the Redneck Riviera). We kindly ask all Dover Delaware participants to please go to a tanning booth before wearing shorts outdoors! :-)
